Buy and sell second hand, face to face.

Meet the seller, inspect the item, then pay in the app. Every seller is ID verified, and you pay nothing until the item is in your hands.

Listing is freeNo payment before you inspectMobile Money or card

You see it first. Then you pay. Then it goes home with you. Good things go round.

The usual way

Pay a stranger, then hope

You send Mobile Money before you have seen anything. If the phone is locked, broken or never shows up, the money is already gone.

The looped way

Hold it, check it, then pay

You meet in a public place and go through a short checklist. Payment happens in the app only when you are happy, and the seller sees it confirmed before letting go.

What people sell

Phones, sofas, clothes and books from people near you

How it works

Three steps from listing to handover

1

Agree a price

Message the seller, make an offer or ask to buy at the asking price. Once it is agreed the price is locked and the item is reserved for you.

2

Meet and inspect

Pick a busy, well lit place we suggest near you both. Check the item against the listing, including the last digits of the IMEI on phones.

Pay in the app

Approve the payment with your MoMo PIN or card. The seller sees Payment confirmed and hands the item over.

Built for trust

Safer than a group chat, simpler than a shop

Every seller is verified

Sellers show an ID and take a selfie before their first listing. You always see whether they are a private or business seller.

Phones are checked by IMEI

Phones and laptops are listed with their IMEI or serial number, so the same device cannot be sold twice and you can match it when you meet.

We never hold your money

Flutterwave, a licensed payment provider, takes the payment and pays the seller. looped never sees your PIN or card.

Public meetups only

We suggest places with people and security around. Other members only ever see your neighbourhood, never your address.

A team for when it goes wrong

If something is not as described, open a case from the order. The seller answers, our Trust and Safety team decides, and refunds go back the way you paid.

Chat stays in the app

Offers, counters and the meetup all live in one conversation, so there is a record of what was agreed.

Turn what you don't use into cash

List a phone, a sofa or a stack of books in a few minutes. Listing is free and a small fee applies only when the item sells.

Questions

Before you sign up

Do I pay anything before I see the item?

No. A purchase request or an accepted offer only reserves the item. You pay in the app after you have inspected it in person.

How do I pay?

With MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or a debit or credit card. Flutterwave handles the payment.

What does it cost?

Buying is free. Listing is free. Sellers pay a small fee taken from the sale price, shown before they publish.

What if the item is not as described?

Do not pay. If you only find out after paying, open a case from the order within three days and add photos. We review it with both sides.

Why do sellers need to show ID?

It is what lets a buyer feel safe meeting a stranger. Your ID is seen only by our verification team and payment provider.

When does a seller get paid?

Flutterwave sends the proceeds to the seller's bank account, usually the working day after the sale.

Is looped available outside Kigali?

Not yet. We are starting in Kigali so that meetups stay close and easy.
